4/3/2023 0 Comments Planet zoo ps4 uscita![]() Let's hope they are doing Planet Zoo with the intention to realize some of the features they couldn't in JW:E. We will have to see, but just like marine animals the large domes for flying dinosaurs is something people have been *pun intended* hawking about for years without success at the dev team of JW:E. Maybe they separate animals and set-pieces almost entirely. We know that they refer to the buldings they have shown at E3 as the African Set, so maybe they will go with the regional route for expansions. In Planet Zoo we could see expansions like "Birds" "Marine Animals" "Insects and Rodents" or something along the lines of "Polar Region" "Predators of Asia" etc. It's usually a small package of scenery packs or a large scenery package with a few flat-rides and coasters that often aren't even related to the theme. Planet Zoo es el nuevo videojuego de gestiĆ³n de Frontier Developments. Looking at PlanCo DLC also doesn't help much in that regard. I'm getting pretty off-topic from the original marine topic, but I just want to add that right now I'm in much suspense about their expansion plans. For obvious reasons not eagles and vultures though :D Where they have large mixed enclosures and bird-houses with double doors where animals are free. ![]() I've also seen this at the Opel Zoo in Gelsenkirchen/Germany. I think the dutch "burgers zoo" is most famous for having very large walk-through glass houses with entire areas where the animals just roam free amongst the guests. Oh there are great concept zoos around the world. Some zoos have shows displaying their hunting methods and such. I agree although I was thinking more the large birds of prey, like vultures, eagles and such. Zoos usually have tons of small animal houses, including insects! Yeah, we need some birds in those cages! They've only shown lizards, but I sure hope birds, rodents and snakes are a thing. ![]() We can't know what their DLC/expansion plans are, but I'm pretty sure that marine animals are either something they will categorily rule out for technical reasons or will do as one of their first expansions. They would need their own type of barriers, another system of feeding (like a spot from the outside), maybe some filtration/pumping utilities and the biggest challenge probably lies with the terrain tools. What we haven't seen are enclosures that are just water. So that system can be exactly the same for aquariums filled with smaller marine animals. We've also seen the terrarium system where they had lizards in glass boxes. So I'm sure that penguins or seals are no problem and will probably even be part of the release package as they are very common in zoos around the world. We have already seen that swimming is a thing even for land animals like bears. I'm sure they want to do this and that they are aware of the players wanting this in the game since they've been pestered by JW:E player about this for literally years now. ![]()
